About Me:
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 40 years of clinical experience. I have an eclectic therapeutic approach and utilize various evidence-based treatment modalities to assist my clients in meeting their potential. I meet my clients where they are and together, we explore realistic action steps that assist in positive change. We all have barriers that can interfere with our hopes and aspirations; such as losses and trauma. I believe in a strength-based approach to help clients resolve issues that keep them from meeting their potential.
In addition to seeing clients in my private practice, I have taught therapy and therapeutic modalities in six universities on the graduate and undergraduate level. I have spent the last twenty years as a professor at American University, School of Public Affairs, in the District of Columbia.

Fees:
$250 for individual 55-minute session
$300 for couple and family 75-minute session
I offer a sliding fee scale.
I currently have weekend, evening and weekday hours available.
I accept Venmo, Pay Pal and credit card payments. I do not accept insurance. I can provide a billing statement so that you can submit a claim for full or partial reimbursement.
